Areas of Research Interests: Fluid Sealing and Lubrication, Microfluidics and Micro Fluid Machinery, Medical Equipment and Bio-Microfluidics

Fluid Sealing and Lubrication: Investigating the transport and lubrication behavior of gases, liquids and multiphase fluids under complex and extreme conditions, and developing advanced sealing and lubrication techniques for energy and power equipment.

Microfluidics and Micro Fluid Machinery: Studying the design and application of microfluidic devices to control the motion of material and transfer of energy in micro-systems.

Medical Devices and Bio-Microfluidics: Developing advanced implantable/interventional medical devices and in vitro analytical techniques, such as artificial heart pumps, valves, stents and bio-microfluidic chips.
