Areas of Research Interests/ Research Projects

Structure regulation and chemical modification of carbon-based functional materials for energy conversion systems, such as moisture triggered electricity generators and solar-thermal steam generators.

Mainly including: 1.Chemical modification on graphene. 2. Smart responsive devices. 3.Flexible energy storage systems. 4. Moisture enabled electricity generator.

I have published 50 scientific research papers. As the first and corresponding author, I have published 16 SCI papers in prestigious journals, such as: Nat. Communication, Acc. Chem. Res., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Energy Environ. Sci., ACS nano and so on, which have been cited more than 1000 times. At the meanwhile, I have gained several national invention patents.

As a major researcher: The National Key Research and Development Program of China: The controllable fabrication of large-scale graphene assemblies towards light/electric applications (NO. 2016YFA0200200);

Personal projects: National Nature Science Foundation of China (NSFC, NO. 21805160); Special financial grant from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (NO. 2017T100062); The first-class general financial grant from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (NO. 2016M600077).
